About Us

About Jonathan Osman & The Charlotte House Hunter Group

In 2007, the Charlotte real estate market fell off a cliff. During the first part of the decade, the housing market in Charlotte area experienced modest and steady growth and in a few months in 2007, it was all over.  Sales and home values plummeted as the number of foreclosures doubled from 2007 all the way to 2011 when the market finally began to bottom out.  Those four years of declines erased the equity that many homeowners had tapped for emergencies like medical debt or job loss.

In those early days, few knew what a short sale was and most that attempted one gave up in disgust with the process.  It was hard to blame them since the rules were being written and adjusted daily, the banks were understaffed, and the process could take up to a year to get completed.

Thankfully, things have improved a million times over.  Today, servicers and investors want to work with struggling homeowners with a short sale and buyers are eager to purchase a home priced for the market.

My team and I have had the privilege of assisting hundreds of homeowners with their short sale needs since the housing colapse of 2007.  Today, we are one of the most productive real estate teams in the Charlotte area with 4 full-time selling agents and full-time staff ensure all parties are communicated with quickly and efficiently.

We Use Technology

Short Sale

Clients and real estate agents are kept up to date on their transaction through our Short Sale Commander processing system.  It is the same system that we use to communicate with our legal team and well as servicers.  You can log-in 24/7 to get updates on the status of your file and even upload documents required to complete the short sale.
